Biomolecular condensates in cell function, aging and disease | Training School | 1st Edition
The main goal of this training school is to raise awareness and provide expertise on fundamental aspects of phase separation and formation of biomolecular condensates, specifically covering the importance of this process to cellular biology and its contribution to the aging process and age-related diseases.
Participants will learn basic concepts related to membrane-less organelles formation by protein phase separation and its regulation and will explore the experimental methods to study these processes in vitro.
Selected trainees will work in groups and receive theoretical and practical hands-on training on methodologies and guidelines for experimental validation of protein phase separation.
The program will include a career development workshop covering publication ethics and integrity.
