PHASAGE CONFERENCE FELLOWSHIPS
The PhasAGE consortium has awarded three researchers with conference fellowships to cover expenses for their participation at “The Protein Aggregation Conference: Function, Dysfunction, and Disease” – FASEB Science Research Conference. The conference will be held online from 23 to 25 June 2021.
The selected participants will present their work as e-poster presentation:
“Characterization of the activity, aggregation, and toxicity of homomers and heteromers of WT and seipinopathy-associated N88S mutant BSCL2”, Vitor Teixeira (Instituto de Biologia Molecular e Celular – IBMC/i3S, PT)
“Towards the development of second-generation kinetic stabilizers to treat transthyretin amyloidosis”, Francisca Pinheiro (Autonomous University of Barcelona, ES)
“A generic approach to study the kinetics of liquid–liquid phase separation under near-native conditions”, Anna Bratek-Skicki (Vlaams Instituut voor Biotecnhologie – VIB, BE)
